Misrach Center supports people with disabilities, rehabilitates workers and integrates students into the regular school system. The Misrach Center's vision is to be one of the leading and respected projects for people with disabilities in Addis Ababa City Government and to act as a partner in the national poverty alleviation program by providing appropriate vocational training, education and rehabilitation for people with disabilities.

For this project, we traveled to Addis Ababa in Ethiopia to document people's stories up close. The challenges of filming in this war-torn country quickly faded into the background when we met the friendly and positive people who have found a way to deal with the daily difficulties not only of their environment but also of their disabilities.

With the generous help of local translators, we are now able to hear the stories in many languages - even in sign language.
