Our short documentary for ETH Zurich was produced over the course of five days of filming. As a film and video production company in Switzerland, we accompanied the students of the Exploration Lab program – both at their headquarters at Switzerland Innovation Park Zurich and at various industry partners. The goal of the project was to capture the dynamics of a program designed to test, develop, and scale innovative ideas quickly and efficiently, even with limited resources - realized as a documentary-style image film for the communication and presentation of the program.

The fast-paced shooting schedule demanded a high level of flexibility and production speed. With our mobile standard kit for film and video production, we were able to adapt seamlessly to changing locations and spontaneous interview situations – ideal for capturing the energy of the project.

Our interview-based storytelling approach allowed us to explore the program’s key themes from the participants’ perspectives, without the need for an additional narrative layer. This way, the dynamic environment of the Exploration Lab becomes directly tangible – authentic, human and visually powerful, as is crucial for a modern, high-quality image film.

A special highlight: we were able to handle the entire project in-house, from concept development and filming to post-production and final publishing.
